hmmm ... I've got a T-1 here, and I'm upping at ~ 810kbps. That's a pretty quick upload for me, and download for you. If you're on cable, though, it will take a lot more to saturate your huge download-pipe.

I would change it to a higher port like 17005, or something. Your cable company monitors port 21 all the time for FTP activity. You may want to enable directories. Not everyone has "stuff" zipped up, plus it keeps everything organized. Lastly, limit the number of users to 5, or so. If not, then your bandwidth will be all taken and 4 kb/s transfers will take forever.

Okay, using CuteFTP, if you have the server name as "ftp://68.61.151.142" you'll get an error trying to send username/pass. If you have the server name as "68.61.151.142" then you'll get in correctly.

You may want to get rid of the warez (Partition magic full.exe)

The mods don't allow it here and you cable company will pull the plus if they find it:Q

Well, i'm ul'ing the new Christina Aguilera video Dirrty. I started out at about 60-70KB/s, but since so many ppl have been getting on it's now down to 13KB/s.:( Should be done in another 5 min.

I uploaded a chocolate truffles recipie I have had laying around for awhile, never made them cause I cant cook buy mabey someone can tell me how they taste.

pretty slow (~125kb/sec avg, 232kb/sec max) up from my cable modem, enjoy the wonderful "exploding whale" movie :)
