Well - just returned from testing the C220P.
Phisically - the thing is beautiful unobtrusive and quite prefect - for what thats worth. Really - any pics you might see on the net don't do it justice - Ive never seen such a beutiful piece of kit.

The screen is absolutely flat.

First thing I noticed was some bad convergence / focus at the lower right. Not too bad though. Acceptable.

The thing which upset me most was the not so deep blacks it produced. I had it all the way down to 0 brighness before it was anything close but still no cigar. Dark grey at best - strange as it wasn't even close to the fd trinitron I have at home. Could this possibly be vid card related?

Geometrically - perfect.

Next - colors - were ok but lacked punch. This might be down to the notso great contrast overall.

Moire - nokia monitor test revealed some bad moire - again, could this be vid card related?

Generally it seemed like a very comfortable monitor to use - text was sharp (except lower right) and it seemed very easy on the eye.

Too bad - it was a beautiful unit but I had to reject it for it's lack of deep blacks and serious contrast.

Love to hear if anyone thinks these might be card related or any ideas on how to bypass this so I can change my mind.
