what's a practice test to prepare for a driver permit test?

Don't even bother, Blood Alcohol Level and Road Signs are basically the only things u need to know.

The test is pretty dumbed down. Just read it once and you should be fine. People that fail usually don't bother reading.

Just pic the highest amount for all the penalties and use your common sense. It has simple questions like, "what is the shape of a stop sign." Don't sweat it.

just read the free little booklet a time or two...

i never read anything before i took mine, failed the first time by 1%, then retook it and passed easily.

I read those DMV Handbooks couple of times and only missed 3 questions on the permit test.

Even if you fail, you can retake the test 15 minutes later. It's no big deal.
