It ran superpi in 18sec....I have PC6400 running 856ddr2 but the gigabyte 965-s3 doesn't seem to offer me ram timings to adjust so I dont know what they are for sure....

I ran 2.7ghz last nigh for 10 hours of prime95....

runnig prime95 now at 3ghz...

Vdimm is 2.2v...It needed it to boot at 3ghz for some reason....may be trying to hold cas 4 timings...

vcore is 1.36v actual and set at 1.375v bios....so about a 5% increase....load temps hitting 56-58c

actually temps hit 62c now...this is still with stock cooler...

My E6600 has a Ninja with 120mm fan....need to try later perhaps

Hit Ctrl +F1 at the main bios screen to get the hidden bios settings for Mem (under M.I.T bios screen)

thanks!!!!

I will try....

What I am happy about is that these boards seem capable of 400fsb....This was like a 112 dollar board....cheaper then my DS3...it lacks a firewire plug which I find odd...

well setting cas timings to 5,5,5,12 I have been able to post at 480....prime95 stable 1hr at 460....I can get 490 to run SSE3 in windows using easytune5...500 reboot the system, and will not post....

what are default vcore for chipset? fsb?...how high have some been going on the chipset? +0.2v?
