As a species, we're very good at doing that. If you're in a bad situation, it's easier to rationalize it than do something about it.This, x-Eleventy.
"Plus size", means a girl is a bit overweight. Maybe 25 lbs or so. Not 100 lbs. That's "morbidly obese".
And yes, it's just as bad as the models who are skeletons.....although I'd wager the skeletons have lower cholesterol and aren't diabetic risks.
Sad to see society coming to this: Making excuses and claiming "I'm comfortable with my body type" as an excuse for eating terribly and being fat as a result, instead of working to get in better shape and lose that weight.
There's going to be a terrible price paid by these people when they get older, if they stay this much overweight. They still have the same joints in their body that were designed to support much less weight. They'll be in their 50's and walking around feeling 80.
Oh, and yeah...tats are hideous, esp the ones like this whale has. I could deal with a couple of smaller, discreetly-placed tats, but not exposed and huge ones like this.
A tattoo has never, ever made anyone look better.
Rationalizing can take a few minutes. Fixing a serious problem could take decades, depending on the problem; depending also on when you start, the simple limitation of a tiny human lifespan might mean that you'll never be able to see the solution.
