For those that missed it, the CEO of Tesla was on Letterman tonight; maybe you can catch the west coast feed.

The car looks awesome and costs $50K.

Apparently Letterman actually owns a roadster and loves it.
 
I think it's $100K. The $50K one is the S and is not in production yet. The factory for it hasn't been built yet, I believe.

They were showing off the S on Letterman
 
They must have been showing the concept car, I guess. Production is still a long way off.

It's actually ~$57K, then you get $7,500 back as a tax credit.
