I've never been so sad as when they showed Terry Schiavo on the news today. I watched one of my family members die and I understand how her husband must feel. It's tough having to deal with someone being such a burdon.

When an animal is terribly sick we don't see any problem showing them mercy, so why shouldn't we show the same mercy to a fellow human being? She'd be better off with god anyway.

It's alot like when I had to put my dog to sleep, it felt really bad at first but it unburdoned me and let me go on with my life. I don't know what the benifit is to keeping her alive is anyway, with the money we spend keeping her alive we could keep more starving children alive.

True, its very cruel to her if she, like most of us, would NOT want to be like that (kept alive like that) if her true wish was not to. She's been in that veg state for 15 years for Gods sake. If she has any thought or emotion going on in her, its probably trying to say "please...let me go Mom and Dad!!!".

This is getting so nutz because the congress made it so. Yet, they care nothing about living/walking folks that suffer. God will get us for this hypocrisy.

I think its stupid to compare the case of Terri Schiavo to pets.

I know! My dog is way smarter and much more alert than TS. :p

Any time I hear someone say, "This is so wrong, we don't treat dogs like this..."

I say, "Yea, well we don't put feeding tubes in them and keep them alive for 15 years either, what's your point?"

They stop being silly at that right after that.

Maybe this is a test. Maybe GW is the "anti Christ" as told in the Bible. It says the anti Christ will do great miracles, and fool millions. If GW causes Terri to recover on Easter morning, there you go.

Wow you people are disgusting.

If we are going to simply kill people because they aren't as productive as others or they might be weaker physically or mentally, then what is the difference between us and Hitler?

Why are you guys making fun of her condition and mocking her possible death?

On a side note, I side with Terri Schiavo's husband.

It is. You could have a dog put to sleep with grace. She can't have that as it is against the law to uthanize a human being for any reason. Therefore, they are forced to keep her in a complete prison for uncounted years or starve her to death. I'd rather be the dog!

Reminder.. it has been said that Mr Schiavo SAID those exact same words.. people are just mocking him.

It is really odd how that bastard was fine with leaving her there for 8 years and then remembered that she never wanted to be like that.. Great memory for supposedly loving someone....

A real christian would understand that she didn't really die, but moved on. The so-called christians that are protesting certainly aren't believers!

Catholics are a funny lot as well. They don't believe in preventing life with birth control, saying life has to be Gods will. They have no problem, however, ignoring God's will and keeping someone alive with the same medical science, even after they have obviously been called on.

No, if she had died today and then rose again on Sunday, *that* would be a sign from God :)
