People needs to be informed that they're eating crap.

What? Seriously? You are under the impression that people eating at McDonalds don't understand that the food there, for the most part, is unhealthy?

Last time I checked, you could eat just as unhealthy by making poor choices when shopping at a grocery store as you could when eating at MacDonalds.

The problem is not the stores/restaurants serving the food. It is the idea that people shouldn't be completely responsible for making their own bad choices in life.

All else equal eating a 800 calorie meal from McDonalds is better over a 1500 calorie meal from Subway. Unless you're a fat fuck like fuckus GI is meaningless.

You butthurt? You said something fucking retarded that anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows it's untrue.

Also, thanks for providing all my recent sig material.

Edit: Also, funny how i pm'd you after you 'gloated' at me being 'wrong' about something and the tables turned in that civil rights thread when it turned out i was right (even the guy who said i was 'wrong' admitted so). You couldn't even show your face or respond . It must suck to be an imbecile like you.

This and trans fats (vs. fats that are actually healthy for you). Not all calories are equal. JS80 proves his ignorance again.
???
Trans fats are man made. You won't fit it in nature. Deep fried bacon and butter sandwiches will have a billion calories and no trans fat.

Actually, companies have made a lot of money by trying to convince people that not all calories are the same. The classic example is "low fat" stuff. Anything advertised as low fat is almost invariably high in sugar. The fake ice cream I buy at the store is water, sugar, and some kind of thickening agent. It doesn't have much fat since it's not real ice cream, bit you better believe it's high in calories and eating it will make you huge.

It's useful for people who have diabetes (high blood sugar) or hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). I try my best to avoid high GI food because sugary-type foods make my blood sugar drop dangerous low. Some people on this forum might be able to relate to this - eating a chocolate bar at noon causing extreme tiredness and low motivation by about 2pm, and it's actually better to not eat any lunch at all.

I don't see what this has to do with my post or where i said Trans-fats were the ONLY bad type of fat or eating 4000 calories of good fats was good for you.

Gee, i wonder why butter would be worse for you than fish, pound for pound. Not only is it exponentially higher in fat density, but something like Tuna has a much better unsaturated fat to saturated fat ratio.

Yeah, that's called deception. They're right that not all calories are the same. But they're substituting one bad type of calorie for another.

good idea actually, it's funny :p
People needs to be informed that they're eating crap.
If they're accepting the trouble with the police why not, costs less than a billboard (which would also make mcdonalds sue them).

They didn't destroy the statue anyway, so no money lost.
They beheaded another statue they already had.

People know they are eating crap.

I find if comical that a group called Food Liberation Army is such a food facist. Maybe they need to learn what the word "liberation" means.

IIRC the double Big Mac is only in Canada now. I know the local McD's has them, although I've never ordered one.

What a bunch of pansies. McDs publishes in store the amount of calories/crap in each burger, they know what they're doing eating there, just snap their picture and send it to their health care provider if you really want to do something.
