Oh, I should probably mention it's the Mexican border. You know, the one shared with the U.S.?

SAN DIEGO -- A terrorist organization whose home base is in the Middle East has established another home base across the border in Mexico.

"They are recognized by many experts as the 'A' team of Muslim terrorist organizations," a former U.S. intelligence agent told 10News.

The former agent, referring to Shi'a Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah, added, "They certainly have had successes in big-ticket bombings."

I wonder if this is even on Napolitano's radar? I suppose our nation should settle whether OBL is really dead and more importantly, why the pictures aren't being released first. We can get to this when we have time. Maybe after November of next year?

Whatever the legitimacy of this story is, anyone else getting tired of unnamed sources? Why is this guy a "a former U.S. intelligence agent" and not a current U.S. intelligence agent? And why is his grand coming out of this info, confined to this one ABC affiliate?

Terrorist Group Setting Up Operations Near Border

Here is the deal - we are only worried about terrorist overseas, once they reach our borders, the US government could care less.

A terrorist organization has a base out our border, clearly a group of terrorist in Afghanistan using outdated weapons is more important.

Nah, no organization would ever be smart enough to figure out that the most porous area of the US is the southern border... of that they could get in through there and wreak havoc on our own soil instead of trying overseas targets. Nah, never.......

Not a concern.

The drug cartels know that any terrorist group, if found coming from Mexico, would cause the US to engage in actions that would disrupt the flow of illegal narcotics. Hence why such cartels would be motivated to kill members of said group before they become a problem.

In the 10 years since 9/11 the closest any terrorist organization has had to attacking the U.S. mainland was fireworks in some nobody's underwear.

I'm not giving Hezbollah any credibility here.

Really I am pretty sure the drug cartel would be happy with a couple hundred tons of Hash , Heroin opium. If I was a Islamic soldier thats would have been my base along time ago. Make the US attack Mexico and watch the shitstorm grow..

Controversial Muslim cleric arrested after smuggled into U.S.

SAN DIEGO — U.S. border authorities have arrested a controversial Muslim cleric who was deported from Canada to Tunisia three years ago and was caught earlier this month sneaking into California inside the trunk of a BMW, according to court documents.

Said Jaziri, the former imam of a Muslim congregation in Montreal, was hidden inside a car driven by a San Diego-area man who was pulled over by U.S. Border Patrol agents near an Indian casino east of San Diego.

Jaziri allegedly paid a Tijuana-based smuggling group $5,000 to get him across the border near Tecate, saying he wanted to be taken to a "safe place anywhere in the U.S."

I wonder on what basis the border patrol stops cars like this.

Give them all Kinder Eggs and they will definitely get stopped at the border.

(for those who missed the obscure reference, google Mark Steyn Kinder Eggs).

Basis? Customs don't need no steenking basis. Normal law enforcement rules don't apply. They got more constitutional authority than you can handle, swingin' in their trousers.
