when visiting the met in NYC this weekend, i had to go through metal detectors and 2 guards, while the rest of the building had hoards of security.
whereas when i last visited ~4 years ago, i walked in, made my donation and got my pin.

I read somewhere that "terrorism" is the only effective method of warfare a small country or organization has to strike at a larger and more powerful country.

Ask the UK if the IRA are muslim or from an islamic nation....

NATIONALISM WILL BRING US VICTORY!!

When they bomb and kill 100+ its terrorism.
When we bomb and kill 3000-5000+ civilians its patriotism.

(Actually this is correct since we are targeting military structures, and they are targeting civilians specifically). But u gotta wonder about them *smart* bombs

Yeah you got to wonder about those smart bombs, and the smart alecks who use them. Actually, truth be told, we bombed civilians too. You didn't REALLY think the arabs came here to bomb the WTC over jealousy of our freedoms did you? No it was retaliation for our '91 bombing of a civilian pharmaceutical building in Iraq. That's why the 1st terrorist attack on the WTC was in '93.

Does that justify terrorist acts on our civilian WTC building? NO not in my opinion. But then my loved ones weren't killed in the pharmaceutical building either.

Want to hear a really crazy theory? How about Israelis in our military purposefully sending a smart bomb to blow up a civilian building in Iraq to drag the U.S. into their long standing war with the Arabs? Sure neither you nor I would do something like that, but that doesn't stop some people from doing it.
