Wayne Simmons, who refers to himself as a "Terrorism Analyst for the Fox News Channel", has been indicted by a grand jury and arrested for lying about his government service. It seems he even lied to the government to gain security clearances for contracting jobs. I guess he's living in his own "Wayne's World"...lol!

I've put his web site on my death watch list. :biggrin:
 
Wayne Simmons was the right wing media's military and security expert on Benghazi - they were so wrapped up in trying to nail Obama / Clinton, that they never bothered to verify who this guy really was/is.

Yeah, the Right is to be trusted, sure.
 
This myopic fixation the Repubs have for dragging Hillary down into the gutter they find themselves in have, I must admit, exposed some pretty amazing tricks and ploys the Repubs have been willing to employ.

That most of them backfire in glorious fashion is a thing of beauty though.

I read the CNN article earlier today and it said that he never worked for Fox News. It says he's just been a guest.

Now that we have accepted transracial people I suppose we should expect to have transexperts too. (Actually, come to think of it, many of them seem to post here regularly.)

The Fox denial is funny to think about... If he's just an unpaid guest, are we to assume from now on that the unpaid guests on Fox News can be liars and it's just fine with Fox? Or is Fox saying that they only pay people who tell the truth, everyone else is allowed to lie. What's sad is that what this guy said on Fox is out there and has done it's intended damage.


The funny thing is now he can claim that the Obama administration is after him. :biggrin:

If you appear on a TV show you get paid, period. It's union scale and everyone gets it. Fox had to pay him.

Regarding Wayne and his Imaginary World, what Fox needs to do in reporting this is spin it as the military having been successfully infiltrated by this liar, causing Fox and other right wing nooz sites to drool, I mean to believe that he was legit.

IOW, the military is weak and it's all Obama's fault!

Not too hesitantly, I conditionally agree, but only in the sense that the Repubs need one more rung on their own ladder than Hillary's to get to the gutter from the sewers, and its mostly because they outnumber Hillary 10-1 😉

So not only was Fox News duped, but the US Government was also duped.

He was not employed by Fox News, but appeared as an unpaid guest. And for whomever said all guest are paid is telling a fib. Or they should post a copy of the cancelled check to prove he was paid.

As has been stated, there is no such thing as unpaid on a syndicated show.

Fox News was hornswoggled because they got a guy who was willing to tell their lemmings what they wanted to hear and sound convincing.

Look up SAG rates for TV. I was in the entertainment business for 20 years.

Edit: you can be an unpaid extra on TV or movie (background crowd ,etc) but if you have a speaking part, you get paid scale.
