That's what I think. And to those who think I'm nuts, let me ask you: considering the behavior of the administration so far, what reason do I have to think otherwise?

It's not fear... it's just alertness. At least that's how I take it. But I'm always alert since 9/11... it's not like if they change the colors it would affect how I react in certain situations. But it's still not fear... that's completely different and not what the "alert" system was designed to do. I'm sure process books are different from fuschia to magenta to tropicana.
 
If you're going to make a crazy conspiracy theory claim at least put some effort into it. Sheesh.
 
Can you blame 'em? If something does happen and they didn't predict it with a mauve or chartreuse terror alert, they'll be burned at the stake by the media. I'd be giving terror alerts daily as well.

Ok. Alertness doesn't change for me either. I do nothing different than I usually do.

They would spend a couple hundred posts talking past one another there while trying to come up with witty and original variations on the word asshat if this was in P&N. Pretty much what will probably happen here as well.
