My system:
Athlon Slot A 600mhz
Epox K7XA 07-25-00 Bios date
128MB PC133 Cas2 Mem
45 gb maxtor 7200rpm HD
Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 MX 32mb

I replaced a Voodoo3/3000 card in this system with the Geforce2 MX and now I'm having terrible performance problems. Benchmarking using 3D Mark 2000 I'm only getting 1200 3dmarks with the default benchmark. I used the online browser and my results should be between 3750-4500. I've also been playing UT which I know 3dFX cards perform better in but I'm only getting 25 FPS with this card when I was getting 75fps with the voodoo at 800x600. I'm using the Detonator 6.5 drivers for the card. Any suggestions to get this thing working correctly?

Try using nVidia's default drivers, available here, & reinstall DX7 after you do.

Did you uninstall the Voodoo before you added this card?

thanks for the response. I finally figured out what was wrong. The Epox motherboard had to have an AGP update. For some reason the first time I updated it it wouldn't work. I tried that patch again and got it running great. I'm getting 4471 3D marks now.
