Terrible movies with great trailers?

I've been wanting to see "The Day the Earth Stood Still" ever since I saw the moody, sleek trailer. Now the reviews are pretty bad and it looks like another case of great trailer/crap movie.

I also thought max payne had a great trailer, but I almost fell asleep during the actual movie.

What are some other terrible movies with great trailers?
 
Best trailer I ever saw was for the new Rambo. It was so good that I still enjoyed the terrible movie because I kept thinking of the trailer.

I agree on all 3 (including super trooper and epic movie). I almost got suckered in to see meet the spartans, figuring it should be 80 minutes of stupid fun - but those movies are really 3 minutes of fun and then filler

god i was so psyched up for that. notice they didn't have the combat droids talking in the trailer. one squeaky "uh, freeze! you're under arrest!" and my expectations might have been more in line.

The blockbuster near me had one copy of this and it was checked out for months. All my friends were stoked when it was finally in only for it to go all anime on us about halfway though.
