Terrible color in Warcraft 3

I don't really know why this is but I just got an NEC LCD1760V and when I play Warcraft 3 on it the color is terrible. I messed around with the gamma slider but it's always terrible. It's either way too dark or way too bright. It looks really bad and although it was fine on my CRT. I thought it was maybe it was because I was on an LCD but my friend had a Sony LCD and it looks awesome on his. Do I just have a bad monitor for gaming or something. It really looks bad the blacks are so dark and the other colors and like bright it just looks really unnatural...Any help would be appreciated.
 
Is it just on WarCraft 3? What kind of video card are you using? Analog? DVI?

The colors should look MUCH better than CRT.
 
Yup it's just in Warcraft 3 everything else is pretty good. I'm running on a 9500np softmodded to a 9700 using the analog connection. The monitor works fine in everything else for the most part but WC3 has always given me a problem. Even on my CRT I could never get the colors to look that great it just looks a lot worse on the LCD.
 
I thought you said colors were fine on your CRT? I don't fully understand what the problem is. Do you think you can post a screen shot or something?
 
The colors on my CRT were better but compared to my friends CRT they were alot worse. It's only really a problem I have in WC3. Could you post a picture in game with night elves? I usually play elves and it's just so apparent to me that the colors are messed up. My friend noticed it to so I know it's not just me. Not to mention the only adjustment that WC3 has to adjust the video is a gamma slider, no contrast or brightness. My monitor is already maxed on brightness so I can't even use that.
 
That is the night elf screen shot. Did you mean in-game screen shot? I will post it later, I'm really tired right now. Do you think you can post your screen shot too? I'm really curious on how yours look like.
