I can't figure out whats going on here, but my Asus Transformer gets horrid battery performance when in sleep mode. Case in point, went to bed last night when battery was at 91%, woke up and it was at 44%. Wifi goes off in sleep mode, GPS disabled, so I don't know what else could be draining the battery. Are there any battery saving apps I should look into that are specifically designed for tablets, or do I just have a giant cellphone and have to deal with charging it every day?

You need to check what is taking so much battery. You can either check through Settings->Battery and there should be a list of what apps are consuming electricity.

Or, you can get BetterBatteryStats, and there should be a list of things that consume your battery.

After you figured it out, you could use Greenify app, which works wonders for me. All other battery saving apps are bogus.

when i had one of those, i noticed it drained fast in sleep mode too. i sold it before i bothered to figure it out... but op, yes you have a giant cellphone. thats all they are.

maybe look into rooting and romming it to see if you can get better battery life too...

The wifi auto-off seems dicey. Turn it off manually for improved deep sleep.

I can't believe anyone would compare Asus to Acer.

Anyway, found what the problem was. For some reason you need to do a cold boot after updating from ICS to JB. Performed one last night, left unplugged at 2am, turned on today at 6pm and it's only at 98%. That's more like it :D
