Just replaced my wife's trusty old TNT with a new evga mx card and put in the new Det 4 drivers. 2D image looked a little fuzzy and when I went to 1024x768 the picture was awful. You could see a distinct line in between every other pixel row. It almost looked like a wall made out of a bunch of bricks. That's the best I can describe it. Downloaded the MAG drivers, and have run the 12.41s,10.80s,12.90s, all did the same thing. Finally went back to the 6.50s and everything seems to fine. Do not understand the problem. Not too much of a big one though. Everything is running fine using the 6.50s, just would be nice getting the performance out of the newer drivers.
If anyone has got an idea I would love to hear it. Also, I always switch to Standard VGA mode, reboot, delete all NV* material, then install the driver of choice.
System specs:
Dell P3500
20 gig Wd
256 ram
win98
evga mx vid card
