Terrell Owens says he felt used by the Eagles

"I went down to the Houston Astrodome after (Hurricane) Katrina, but nobody made a big deal about it," he said. "But you saw Peyton Manning and his brother, they made a big deal about that. I did it on my own. I didn't do it for publicity."

So, he didn't do it for the publicity, but was pissed when he didn't get any publicity?

Man, this guy has his head so far up his own ass it is unbelievable.

I agree with him about some of it though. Like the sharpie incident was anything to cry about. Although he should know that they do target him, and stay away from doing things like that. But still, I don't see what the big ruckus is about. Same thing with Randy Moss.

Basketball is where all the real big @ssholes are.

What exactly did he contribute to the Eagles? Given, he's a great player... tons of talent, physically gifted. But really... The Eagles were going to NFC Championships and turning in 11-12 win seasons before him. He was injured during their ENTIRE playoff run last year so you can't say he helped them get to the Super Bowl. He came back for the SB and had a great game... but they still lost.

In the end the same chaos, discord and turmoil that SF had to deal with wound up in the Eagles locker room. So how exactly was he used?

The kid was and will be a play maker. There are few receivers in the league that can do what he does on the field. He isn't the only one by any means, but McNabb getting hurt was just the nail in the coffin for the Eagles this season. They wouldn't have made the playoffs if he was healthy.

I don't think they need TO, but they need to get the whole incident behind them and get reorganized.
