Yeah, I couldnt agree more. I thought it was a real update.

The team that made Terraria is dissolved apparently. They pushed a bunch of updates and then the programmers quit, and the artist left to work on some other stuff.

one of the programmers had a kid. Hence the quit.

Update is being pushed by the company that bought the property.
