I will gladly put my brain aside for a few hours to watch it. Haven't seen a good action movie in awhile now.

That new trailer looks much better than the original teaser. Still too many cheap lines wasted on the trailer.

Every single "I'll be back" or "come with me if you want to live" is getting old. I expect to have these lines in the movie, but it's like 90% of the trailer.

agreed. at least the plot is a little more interesting with "john" going back in time.

It is certainly interesting in some kind of alternate timeline created due to John being "mechanized" somehow. I like the cast, so I'm sure it will be a decent action movie.

Did they seriously remake the Bill Paxton scene from the first movie? I just can't believe they made the movie look even worse, I didn't think that was possible.

James Cameron has given his seal of approval for this movie, saying it is the true 3rd movie. I don't recommend you searching for the interview though because it contains tons of spoilers about it.

I can say they remade the intro scene from Terminator.

n/m I see Lupi already posted about it.

Saw this today. Best news EVER! Sounds like it is a worth while successor to 1/2 that has thought put into it. 3 and 4 were brainless action movies. Good brainless action movies but brainless none the less.

And release date bumped from July 2 to July 1. AWESOME!

I am happy to say that I have not watched any trailers yet. I pray that this is everything I remember 1 and 2 being from my childhood. I saw 1 on VHS. I remember renting it never even having heard of it. Just thought the cover was cool. I was probably 12. Then T2 came out when I was a teen and I saw it with my brother. One of the two best movie experiences I have ever had (the other was The Matrix).

Oh GOD NO. Stop saying what they remade and missing the spoiler tags. Seriously. WTF! I am avoiding all spoilers no matter how minor. I want it to be a total trip down awesomeness. Seriously. Anything honoring the first two movies to me is SPOILER TAG WORTHY.

Have you seen Mad Max yet?

He posted that comment on April 20th. So hopefully, between then and now, he has had the opportunity to see Mad Max and will now reassess that statement.

....and no way this flick is going to be a better action movie than Mad Max. I predict shaky cam, tight camera angles of elbows punching something, and lots of cartoons passing for effects.

Indeed. https://turntherightcorner.files.wo...hot-t-800-arnold-schwarzenegger-robot-arm.jpg

As for those thinking Cameron's approval means anything, he said Terminator 3 was great when it was coming out. He's part of the industry, so he will promote that industry, it's the job. Not that it would mean much if it were sincere.

Looks like your typical terminator movie. They've all kinda been the same since T2. I'll watch it but probably won't go to the theater to see it.
