Terminator 3 was absolutely AMAZING. A masterpiece of an action film and a very, very worthy successor to the second film. Be careful though. It has the ultimate spoiler ending in thei history of cinema.

What do you mean by the last sentence? I went to see it tonight... but it wasn't as you make it out to be. T4 should be out soon...

there are like 4 threads on this movie, already....

that being said, t3 was a huge let down for me, the acting was poor, the charectors were boring, there were a few things that were very inconsistent with the movie.
it seemed "been there done that" , 2nd movie is still by far the best

I watched the second movie again last night . . . I don't know, it just didn't seem as "boss" as the 3rd one. Maybe it's just the fact that I first saw it when I was a kid. But one thing I've been wondering, people have been panning T3 for it's humor - there's plenty of humor in T2.

teh 2nd movie was so good becasue of the connection between john and arnold, and how their bond got stronger throughout the movie. It developed the charectors and by the end you were routing for them.. t3 did none of that, it was rush rush rush, noise on the screen

Yes, but, I felt like there was more of a sense of urgency in T3. In T2 there was time for the T-101 to become a pseudo-daddy of sorts, but this time around he was programmed strictly for business - making sure that John and Kate survived.

this movie was nothing but a set up, it through the whole message of the first 2 movies out the window. the future is not set. "There is no fate but what we make for ourselves."
T-X was a unoriginal villian, and it was not even plausible, to see Arnold a robot dinosaur putting up a dight against it. The one-liners were ok, but arnold did not have the same sparkle he did.

inconsistancies:
Arnold gets the keys from the viser of the truck
Arnold in the cemetary with "No human Casualties"

I'm sure those two inconsistencies you picked up were obvious to the writers also. There's reasoning behind it. They put that in there on purpose.

*spoiler*
When John and Kate finally made it down to the bunker, and see the old computers and realize it's a fallout shelter, I thought they were gonna pull a twisted ending on us... as if Arnold was pretending to help them, but end up making John blow up what was supposed to help the humans.

Whatever... it was still closed out pretty well for now, IMO.
