Terminal Services (remote desktop) Printers

Anyone here know of a laser printer that works right out of the box with terminal services? I'd prefer not to go with HP, simply because their DOT4 port printers are such a huge hassle.

Thanks,
Justin

Any of the Samsung Lasers that use PCL5/6 . We have several ML-1450s. I just add another virtual printer to the host machine as an HP LaserJet III. It automaps on Terminal Services Clients.

Hmmm...
Not to sound ignorant, but, perhaps I am. Can you explain the process of adding a virtual printer? It would be greatly appreciated.

Just add another printer using the "add printer" wizard. E.G., you have a Samsung ML2250 on LPT1 already, use add printer and add a Laserjet III to LPT1. The terminal services client should auto mount the "virtual printer" If it's a network printer, Terminal Services will not redirect it without 3rd party software, though you prob could do some port mapping trickery.

Thank you. I thought maybe that's what you meant, but wanted to find out if there was some aspect of this whole procedure that I was missing. Thank you for your time,
Justin
