Does anyone know the best/cheapest option for PDF "printing" from a (Server 2003 based) terminal server?

We have CutePDF writer running on one of our TS's. It's free and I've never seen it fail.

Not sure how I missed that. I was assuming CutePDF charged for licensing for Terminal Servers. Installing now.

Thanks!

AFAIK they don't. I haven't poured through their terms to find out, but its says free for personal, business, government, etc...not sure why TS would be any different from PC.

I read the FAQ blurb regarding usage on Terminal Servers, and it simply indicated that it works.

doPDF points you towards using novaPDF server instead, which leaves a note at the bottom of each page unless you license each unique computer separately. They don't even offer concurrent licensing.

I've used CutePDF before many times, somehow missed this detail though. Thanks again, it's working as expected.

Converter + CutePDF, then rename the virtual printer from "CutePDF" to "Print to PDF" - that way users go to print and see an option that says "Print to PDF", makes it nice & obvious ;)
