Terminal emulation on OSX?

I know this will be an unpopular request, but I need to be able to use a terminal emulator at home to access inventory at work in the off hours.. How can I do this. Our IT department hates apple so I can't ask them.

Yea, OSX's terminal.app is one of the best terminals you can get imho.

Do you know how I can enter my own keyboard mapping. I was able to do it all manually on an old WYSE Windows CD based terminal and it worked well. I hope there is also a way to do it on the OSX terminal.

Terminal Menu > Preferences > Settings

There is a tab in there for customizing the keyboard commands.

I think so. Now I have to find a net extender app to connect remotly to my work.

Sonicwall Netextender? They have a java client for OSX.
