Terminal cancer - She needs help

She has last stage brain tumor - doc says he can?t believe she can actually walk. They gave her 6 months but obviously she doesn?t know.

We are trying to help raise funds and I helped created a website for her. It?s not done yet - but i wanted to ask how good are the admins at AT and Hardocp etc to give some traffic so she might get some donations.

The only doc who agreed to see her is I believe in Texas and we are in Chicago. it takes quite a few trips, medications and god knows what not.

My little cousin recently passed away because of leukemia, so I have a soft spot for this girl.

BTW - any tips etc to get extra traffic and funds would really help.

I will post the link once I have the complete website up.

sorry to hear that but late stage brain tumor... what do you plan to do? chemo is out of the question as it's a brain tumor and surgery is not likely as it's late-stage.

sucks.

True - they gave my cousin 1 year. he lived for 16 more. The thing is - no doc thinks he can operate except for this guys in texas.

she will have to stay there for a while - they chemo has worked and shrunk the tumor but this kind of tumor is famous to grow back rapidly after a couple months of chemo.

the only thing that reamains is hope - and i really do hope that she gets the best help possible before they give up on her. cause once they give up - then thats it.

people please - i love the humor here at atot... but this is not the right thread.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend and her niece. What initially led to the diagnosis? The location of the tumor will decide if an operation will be efficacious.
