Not All the 'Feel-Good' News will Change the Facts
(From the Washington Post) You don't have to really register - just log the entry.

Now I know that there has been a big effort by the Bush Administration to point out all the succsess that is hpening,
but in spite of the 'Feel-Good' filters that FAUX News, and the 'Propaganda' rerleases - a fact is still a fact.
News is by deffinition the happenings from the points of the globe - North - East - West - South = NEWS

You can say all you want about all the schools being built, the $ 50,000 Garbage Trucks that Bagdad needs, and
all the wonderful things that really are taking place - but by nature the catostophic incidences that are taking place
there do and will continue to happen, and the news of the world should not be suppressed - Freedom of the Press.
Our government has the duty to allow ALL news to be reported, and not them Filtering out that which they feel is
not friendly to the current administration - as the Bush Administration has taken upon themselves to try to do.
(Like the return of War Dead not being allowed to be seen - or even photogtaphed when unloaded in Dover)

I don't remember Clintons Administration trying to stop all the Conservarive news sources, Linbaugh, Drudge,
Bill Kristols Weekly Liars Standard, Etc. from blasting Bill & Hillary when they were the target of destruction.
Why do the Bushies get a pass on the facts being presented. ?

Agreed. How often do you see the networks doing stories on new schools or police stations, etc., opening in the US. Networks don't do stories where they encourage the viewer to change the channel. You will see it on local newscasts when they are closing up schools and police stations due to lack of funds though.
