i play tennis with a freind and the same situation arises that has not been resolved in a long time.
first im quriouse about how many ponts you gain from winning a shut out (when apponent makes no points that game). this is when we play first to 7, but i think its always the same.
second, when serving and hiting the net (and lands in the right box) = a let... and you get a do-over of that serve. heres where we clash:
he claims that you can only get a do-over if you "tip" the net on the second serve. i think it doesnt make a difference and you get a chance to tip one the first and second serve. and from what i remember two "tips" means a fault... or is it the third?
couldnt find a clear answer anywhere so if we can cite our sources too that would be perfect.
thanks.
