Remember when I predicted white Republicans were trying to wipe the teaching of Martin Luther King and civil rights from the history books, I was accused of being hyperbolic. I told you this was coming. White Republicans want to exercise any contributions of black people in this countries history from public schools. BTW - this isn't the first instance, a version was proposed in Texas.
What's to come next? Slavery wasn't so bad or never happened.

A Southern chapter of the right-wing parents advocacy group Moms of Liberty is protesting teaching the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in school because they claim aspects of his work traumatize students. The group further alleged that teaching children anything about the civil rights movement should be banned
