Just keep in mind that it takes a good 2 weeks to a month AFTER you feel normal again for it to really start to be healed well. The tough part is going to be continuing to take it easy even though all the pain and tension is gone completely. Last thing you want is for it to recur and then 1+ month of "taking it easy" wasted for nothing.

Yea I'm going to do my best, lifting will stay light for the next 3 weeks, then it'll only get slightly heavier for another month and finally ramp up to something I would consider normal for a month. It will probably be extended at least a little due do travel after spring break for a few months over weekends and stuff. I can't wait for this routine to be over already, feels like I'm wasting 2 months but I've heard good things, my body needed a rest anyway I've been going heavy for about a year with only a few delaods when I stalled. Worst case it'll give everything a chance to heal up and I'll be ready to move some serious weight again.

Had some slight cramping on the bottom of my forearm Saturday night, not related to any exercise that I could think of. Talked to the PT today after sparring and he said it was probably muscle cramping and he'll take a look at it Wednesday, we were both in a hurry to leave tonight. So far so good! And my weight is perfect, 226 tonight, for competing at 225 in 12 days... Can't wait. Might talk to the guys about helping me cut to 205 if it's viable for day before weigh ins, I'd be a monster in the 205 weight class.
