I'm looking to replace my unhealthy, hard to maintain water bed. I, like many AT's enjoy sleeping, so I don't think I'd mind spending a lot on a quality mattress. I like the idea of these "memory-foam" beds, supposidly developed for Nasa :) I think it would be great for my back. I felt a sample of the foam at my Chiropractor and it felt like it would be great to sleep on, but I haven't actually laid down on one of mattresses yet. Anyone own one of these?

Here are a couple links...

You're welcome, you never know how descriptive or vague someone will title a thread so I always do vague searches like tempur. However I did cheat this time, since I have no life and remembered seeing and posting to that previous thread I already knew that it existed.

Shh, it will be our own little secret.

I could never spend this much money on a memory foam mattres, unless I somehow got a Brookstone employee discount. My wife and I just love our Sealy Posturpedic Mira Loma QUEEN and it was a major bargain for only $340 at CostCo B&M back in Jan 2002 when they were selling for $399 - $60 coupon = $339 out the door, wow. It's a nice medium firm, not too soft but not as hard as a rock either, solid construction.
