Riva Tuner wants to disable driver verificatioin to run. I don't want to disable any of Vista's security features.

I did like the way RivaTuner ran background monitoring in the systems tray. It read each CPU core and each GPU core temp. I could select the color of the text to differentiate between CPU and GPU with a glance.

Can any one offer something compatible?:brokenheart:

BTW Ntune says it can, but it is limited and stops functioning 90% of the time when you launch the monitoring utiliity.

Thanks,

i've read someone say that Core Temp works in vista 64
http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/

core temp is rather nice in that it doesn't need to be installed and you dont need to reboot to use it, but perhaps that is because I have speedfan installed which installed GiveIO or something like that.

I don't use Vista either but I remember reading somewhere that you can run CoreTemp in Vista x64 by choosing 'Run as Administrator' or whatever that option is called.

Check out Everest. It'll show CPU/GPU/ everything else you could ever want to know. You can get a free trial edition, but I'd recommend getting the full version. It's the most accurate and versatile utility I've come across.
