Temps the same at 1.47 and 2.13?

Is my sk-7 working right?? My temps seem to barely vary (maybe 2-3c) from default 1700+ to 2600+ (1.47 vs 2.13). Yesterday night my case temp was around 32c and while I was playing a game my comp shutoff meaning it must have hit 70c max shutdown temp :Q As of right now case temps are 26c and my load temp was 61c after running prime95 for a bit. This is at 2125 1.5v. I'm pretty sure the heatsink is seated properly, I've used a mirror to check the bottom to see if it overlapped onto the socket but it doesn't. I don't even want to attempt bumping up the vcore at these temps. Any suggestions?
