temprature politics...

grrr..why do i get roomies who like to keep teh thermostat at 65 and below.

she claims the she wont get sick if its cold.. my room gets colder than hers because its bigger and i got a sliding door in mine. grrr!
She claims keeping at 68 will make her sick, her becomign sick isnt due to teh temprature goign warmer, might be if it was colder..

but still i hate it.. grrr.. why do i get roomies like such.. we had originally agreed to 68-70
now its like keeping at 65.. she keeps it at 62 when i am not around..

its brrrrrr.. i cant concentrate at that temp..

I swear teh day i get a job and have my own apt, i am so going to keep it at 68-70..

Her getting sick has nothing to do with temperature, and everything to do with whether she's exposed to a hostile viral or bacterial infestation. That said, I'm glad I live alone... 🙂

yup but like all women .. she think she is a know it all.. oh well..

i know its due to bacterial infections and viral infections.. temprature isnt a issue here, tehy will survive at 62 as well as 70.. no problems.. it doesnt lessen the risk.
Her immune system must be weak cause i havent gotten sick. she has already gotten sick and its teh 2nd week of school.

well it kind of makes sense. if you get too used to the warm temperature inside, when you go outside you won't take the cold as well. I know a lot of people say being cold does not make you sick but everything I hear and experience indicates otherwise. Heck sometimes just having the temperature too low for one night I'll develop a sore throat the next day.

in fact there is some recent research that demonstrates this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/4433496.stm

All I know is I wanna live with your roomie cause I can never find anyone that lets me turn it under 68.

ive been keeping mine at home from 63-65 this year

then again, this winter has been creepy, its been in the 60s lately more than in the 40s, so at least meh heating bill isnt evil this year.
