Temporary work in Canada

Hey guys,

I've been trying to do some research into temporary work permits for Canada with little luck. Here's my story... I have a Canadian citizenship appication in the works, but, of course, it has been hung up in bureaucracy much longer than anticipated. I'm hoping to move there soon for a job (which I already have), but I want to know if it will be possible to do so legally. Basically, i would just need the permit until my citizenship application is fully processed.

Any thoughts?

If your employer can provide any sort of work visa, that should hold you over. Contact their HR department and see if they have any plans for people in your situation.

unfortunately, the company is rather small and doesn't frequently hire people from out of the country.
