I'm going to build a new computer soon, and I REALLY want a G80.. but I just can't afford it right now.

Would it be "intelligent" to get all of my components, and an average video card, then upgrade when G80 prices fall? How long until they go down some?

I was thinking about getting a 7900GTO to hold me over maybe.

Whats your budget right now?
You could sell your Cpu,board and video card for about 180.00$(for sale forums)

Buy a AMD x2 4200 reuse your ram (overclock to 2.6 )for 180.00$

Buy a Amd pci-e board 130.00$
8800gts for 450.00$

Total cost 580.00$

That should be good for a year or 2
