Temporary Blacberry Tour On Verizon
OK first of all, i don't currently have a cell phone. Its driving me nutz. In most cases i'm ok but there are certain cases where i really really need one. I've been trying to hold off until Blackberry storm 2(If i like it), Android, or WebOS/Palm Pre comes out for verizon. I really can't hold off anymore. I need at phone. I'm looking at getting a blackberry tour from wirefly (great deal). I went to a corporate store today to ask about some of the specifics with a verizon contract:
1) When and what kind of discount do you get for a early upgrade. He told me its based upon your voice plan. He said if i went with the 900 basic then i would be eligible for early upgrade after 12 months and i would only have to pay 2 year contract renewal rate
2) Early Termination just in case i needed. Said it would be $175 initally and gradually lower as i go along
Is anything i was told incorrect?
How happy are you guys with the blackberry app store? I loved the apple app store for the short time i had the iphone? Is it pretty good?
I must go with verizon. Its about the only thing that will get signal in my office. I tried the iphone and palm pre and both had crappy a crappy signal.
Is there anything i'm not taking into account? I plan to probably have this phone for a year and then do a early upgrade to a WebOS, Android, or Storm2 device. I prefer touchscreen (but hate the current storm) and like i said i have to stick with verizon.
