Temporary bank error in my favor?

While checking my bank account online this morning I discovered two deposits in my account that I never made. One deposit was made on the 6th for $562, and the other made on the 7th for $88. Under the description for both deposits, they say "EXCEPTIONS - FORCE PAY ". What does that mean??

I guess I'm going to have to call the bank tomorrow to clear things up. I wonder how long it would take them catch their error and take it back out of my account.

They always catch their errors. Of course someone could be using your account to launder money but more than likely the bank just deposited the money to the wrong account. It's still their money though, they'll come lookin' for it if you pull it out!

And they will have rakes in case you can't come up with the money. Rusty metal ones.

yep, don't touch it or you'll be in debt for it when they figure out the error (which won't take too long)

I used my debit card to buy a GBA game almost a year ago and my account still hasn't been charged...
