So it's 4am and it needs a new battery..and foolishly I have no 9v batteries in the house.

I'm tired as hell, it's too late to go to the store and if I go out I won't sleep the rest of the night. I just want to sleep for now and get a new damn battery tomorrow..any temp solutions in the mean time?

I also don't have any headphones/ear plugs to mess with at the moment, and I'm a light sleeper.

Have to completely disconnect it if it's hooked up to the house power. The "nice" thing about these things is they can hold charge and continue to beep literally for hours in my experience, so put it under a pillow.
I fvcking hate how these things also start the low bat alarms at 2am.
