A quick gallery of my Tempest project:

On a side note, I just received the two missing drivers.

Box is beat to hell & both drivers are damaged. One is salvageable (I think) but one is pretty hosed.

UPS is gonna hear it from me tomorrow, first they lose them for a week then they have the audacity to drop this crunched box on my doorstep.

Nice work !! Enjoy the bass ... once you get the drivers replaced. Ensure that you get the claim filed as early as you can. Best of luck !!

It's an enclosure for this. Adire Tempest, 15" 750W DVC sub driver.

214L, dual 3" flared ports, should weigh in at ~75 lbs (would weigh MUCH more if it was all made out of MDF), will be powered by an 860W pro amp (QSC RMX-850).

Just for size reference, the Sonotube is 24" inside diameter, & the endcaps are 27" diameter. Tube height will be around 33 1/4", total height probably around 40" (with legs, etc).

Just talked to the UPS Store that shipped these, apparently when they received the original packaging back from whoever got it they re-packaged it. They're in a HUGE box, each individually wrapped in bubble wrap & then the box filled with peanuts.

The bright side is that he says they were perfect when he packaged them, so my speakers were personally inspected AND packaged by a UPS employee.

If that isn't a iron-clad damage claim I don't know what is.

Now what would be even better is if I could get them to refund the shipping costs...
