Temperture question for P3 slot 1

I have a p3 450 slot 1 non coppermine that I want to overclock. Using SiSoft sandra, I check my processor temp to be around 42C on bootup and without overclocking. When I push it to 567mhz, my temp raise to 52C and all the way to 57C after heavy cpu useage. This seems high to me and I'm getting a little worry. I was wondering what kind of temperture are other people getting with similar cpus. Thanks for any help

You should refer your temp questions to Mikewarrior, he knows operating temps for processors pretty well. Edit your message to direct it to him. He will be on later I'm sure.

The delta T (change in temp) from non-overclocked to overclocked is pretty large, but Mike can tell you if it is still safe.
