i have an amd athlon xp2400+ runnin @ the stock 2133mhz...i have the retail heatsink and fan installed on the cpu and used arctic silver 3 as my thermal paste...it says that the cpu temperature is 41C is this a good...average...or bad temperature???

That's a pretty good temp for retail HSF. If you were using a better quality fan I'd say that's average! =)
