temperature sensor tape

I have an LCD temperature sensor panel for my case that has the orange tape on the ends of the sensors.. well it *had* the orange tape on it. As you can guess, need to find either more of this sensor tape or an alternative because scotch tape on the ends isnt working. It gives incorrect readings and beeps nonstop.

im not sure if electrical tape will or will not work

but they sell this type of tape at electrical stores, I know Fry's has it, although I despise Fry's...Im sure Radio Shack would have it too!! Good luck!!

if scotch tape wont work I doubt electrical will either. I think it has to be able to conduct heat like a metalic tape or something. I could be wrong. Ill try the electrical tape just to be sure.

Yesterday I saw a thread @ silentpcreview.com where they were talking about just that. Somebody there knew where to get it if I remember right.

For some reson the electrical tape isnt working.

@Xbassman - where exactly did you see that article. Search turned up nothing and I looked at articles in "System Advice", "CPU Cooling", and "Fans and Control", and dont see anything that relates to it. If you can remember the thread can you please send the link to it?

thanks, I typed in somethings similar to that but it didnt come up with anything... must be a real picky search.
