TEMPERATURE READING

Do any of guys know the best way to read the temperature of the CPU without having to look at BIOS or restart?
I know some of the MOBO manufacturer throw in some utilities/software to read the temp, but what if you are not offered one? I have an ECS L7s7a2 mobo.
