I just built a new system with the following config:
Raidmax X1 case with 450W PS
ASUS P5WDH motherboard
E6600 CPU
Corsair 2GB memory (VS2GBKIT667D2)
Gigabyte GEFORCE 7600GS graphics
Seagate 300GB SATA300 HDD
NEC16x DVD R/W IDE
I am NooB on OC!
When I try to overclock by using one of the standard settings in the BIOS (FSB1200/DDR800), the Mobo temperetaure goes up to 50degC. The CPU temp remains steady around 35degC. Without overclocking, the temperature is around 45degC. Is this normal (or acceptable). I also get alarms from the PC ProbeII (the threshold is set at 45degC).
Another question on the case connections:
There is a 3 pins connector with 2 blue wires that ends in a male connector coming from the front panel of the Raidmax box. I am not sure what to do with this.
