Temperature program

I was looking for a free temperature program to monitor my computer's temps. Anyone have a suggestion? I don't need anything horribly detailed, just want to know a few general temperatures.

Speedfan is another good alternative, and isn't as hard to configure as Motherboard Monitor, IMHO.

downloaded Speedfan and loaded it up, but when i clicked the X at the top right to close it, it automatically set the fans to 100% usage.

I find this weird, and annoying. Anyone know the reason why?

don't most mobo cds these days come with a temperature program?
