After I run Asus PROBE for a while (20-30minutes) it starts showing incorrect temps. If I close and restart it, this message comes up: Can't find LMControl Procedure. This also happens with MBM, though it doesn't give me the error message. This has happened with the latest official BIOS and the latest beta BIOS. Any ideas? I'm also using the latest MBM and Asus Probe.

I have the same mobo but my trouble is a little different.
I had MBM 4.18 and just put in MBM 5.0
With the old one it showed my cpu temp under load a nice low 32 - 33C
Ver. 5 says it's 51C
When I let it idle it cools down pretty dramatically, down into the 30's again.
I just think it's weird how much different it is. If it is the true temp I am willing
to accept it, but I want to know.
I use an Alpha PAL 6035 hsf.
Is MBM 5 good?

You're supposed to use MBM 5 with the CUSL2. If you look around on the site, it's supposed to say that MBM4 doesn't work right with the CUSL2. My idle temp is 29-30. Under load, I peak at 40. That's Prime95 for half an hour so far.

edit: I'm using the 6035 also, but with a delta fan.

hmmm... Idle my cpu is at 31C
When I start up seti@home it zips up to 50C in about 60 seconds.
Where do you get Asus Probe?
BTW my bios is dated 10/2000 and is version 1003. Is that the best you know of?
Is there something newer / better somewhere?

My fan speed is saying it is 7200rpm
It is very loud and moves a lot of air.

You have the latest official BIOS. At CUSL2.com they have links to download the latest beta bios and Asus Probe. My MBM5 temps are the same as the ones I got with Asus Probe.
