Temperature misread??

Hello, I am having a little worry with my temperatures. Here is a screenshot to show you what I'm looking at:

If you notice, I have circled two different temps. However, I believe that these 2 temp readings are referring to the same item because I have been closely monitoring these 2 readings and speedfan stays EXACTLY 10c hotter(at all times) than the one on Control Center. So these 2 temps are moving up and down in unison, one is just 10c hotter than the other .The question is, what exactly are they referring to? Control center says this is a CPU Temp but every other program I have downloaded is saying that my CPU temps are solid. Not to mention, I have an aftermarket cooler with a fresh coat of thermal paste. I am beginning to think that my motherboard is reading something incorrectly. I have been gaming on this system extensively and have not had any stability issues. Could this be referring to some other part, maybe the outside layer of my cpu or something? I really have no idea where this high temp is coming from, it doesn’t make any sense.

Edit: Btw I have tried registering my mobo with speedfan to see what "temp2" is refering to exactly but it wasn't listed.

Looks like your using the MSI control center...? I dont bother with speedfan it doesnt seem to work correctly with my MSI board either so dont trust it... Realtemp has worked good for me so far and that "cpu temp" your seeing I think is a thermosistor under the cpu itself (might be wacked or just being misread)...? I dont know for sure others may chime in on this but mine does crazy stuff too, I also see this in Aida64 sensor but dont worry about it as the cpu core readings to me are what I need to know and go by...

You have to set a offset like -15 offset for all cores. That will be your real temprature. Apps that do that are core temp and speedfan,,, I had to do it too. I have no idea what your offset has to be,, but its a start buddy.. thx gg and bb
