Temperature Limits

I just ordered a Vantec Nexus Multi-functiuon panel and I want to use it to monitor certain components. Besides the CPU, I was thinking about putting a temp sensor on the heatsink for my KT400 chipset and possibly attatching one to my memory stick heatsink. My problem is I haven't been able to get any info on max operating temps for either of these. I was thinking about just taking readings under normal conditions, (without any overclocking,) and then allowing a percentage for heat rise under extreme loads. Does a 15% rise is heat sound like a safe limit or does anyone know where I can get some exact figures?

I dont know about %, but your case should stay less than 10 deg C above your room temp. So make any adjustments you need based on that.
