Temperature Difference

Hey all...I have an Abit KT7-Raid with a 900 T-Bird(runs sweet!) Anyways my question is: Has anyone installed the motherboard monitor program that came with the MB drivers disk? I find that when I read the temp in winME and then shut down and check the bios, there is around a 10C difference(always hotter) For example: if I check it in windows and it says the cpu is 34 and then I restart and check the bios, it reads 44C. Which one should I trust? Anyone else get this?

I have the same sort of setup (stats @ the bottom), and I use MBM5, think it's great...mainly for it's ability to check temps on the fly...just do a little simple math and you can check your core temp whenever you like.
