temp too high?

Hi, I have dfi ultra-d nf4....the comp in my sig...I'd idling at 53 C for the motherboard temp...is this too hot? I can lower the temp by adjusting fan settigns in bios but the mobo fan on the dfi is so annoyingly loud at full blast..

I put one of these little hummers on mine and it solved that problem!!

Short of replacing that stock fan, I have no other recommendations. I know what you mean by it being annoying though!

uh..i think you've got my question confused..thats a vga cooler...i need a solution to my MOBO temp not video card temp

Not on your Vid Card. Put it in place of your Northbridge cooler which is likely the source of the noise! This will cool better and be nearly silent.

Also, take software temp readings with a "grain of salt".
